During the 2015 Annual Meeting of the New Hope Telephone Cooperative held on March 29, 2016, the Nominating Committee presented the nominees to the Board for years 2016 through 2019. The nominees were: Daniel Flora, Jeremy McLaughlin, Shirley Wampler and Bob Wise. After counting votes the committee reported the 2016 - 2019 members elected are: Daniel Flora, Jeremy McLaughlin and Bob Wise. Many thanks to all those accepting nomination.

We are pleased to announce you may now handle your account online with a new service called E-Care. With this service you can view your bill online. You can also make one-time payments with a credit card or electronic check. Many of our members have expressed a desire to set up automatic payments with a credit card or electronic check and you can now do that too. To access this service simply click on "My Account" in the navigation bar near the top of the page. The first time you access that page you will need to register for the service. Registration is easy but if you want to view a help document there is one located in the Documents section at the top of the page entitled "My Account Setup Instructions". Signup is free and there are no additional charges per transaction at this time. Patronage refund checks were mailed out on November 11, 2015. These refunds are for the Cooperative's 1999 fiscal year. If you were a member of the Cooperative in that year you will likely receive a refund check. Unless these refunds are issued by the end of business, July 17, 2016, they will be deemed assigned to the Cooperative, as per The Cooperative bylaws, Article XI Section 11.4. On May 11, 2016, a list will be displayed on the Unclaimed Patronage Page of our website and also local newspapers showing names of patrons that have not claimed their patronage for the 1999 fiscal year refund.

On August 1, 2013, Tim Harris (General Manager of NHTC) was a guest at the New Hope Ruritan Club's picnic dinner. After the delicious meal provided by the club members, Tim presented Club President, Bob Wise, with a check for $2,500. President Wise thanked the New Hope Telephone Cooperative for their support and stated the donation would help in current projects the club is handling.

Mike Warren retired on March 28, 2013 after more than twenty-five years working for New Hope Telephone Cooperative. During this time much progress has been made here and Mike was always eager to do his part. Mike was very dependable and would do whatever was asked of him to the best of his ability. Mike is truly loved by the community, the Cooperative and it's employees. We wish him the best.
